Living Water Connections: An Eagle Scout Project Bringing Hope
How It Started
Living Water Comics began as an Eagle Scout project to bring encouragement to children battling cancer in hospitals. Inspired by the biblical concept of "Living Water," a Scout created a vibrant comic newspaper to uplift young patients. With support from volunteers, local print shops, and community fundraising, sanitized copies were printed and safely delivered to pediatric oncology wards. The project brought joy and hope to kids during their medical journeys. From that day on, a nonprofit was founded to continue this mission, ensuring that children in hospitals would receive comic newspapers for years to come.

Living Water is proud to partner with a Kids and a Comic, a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering joy and inspiration to children in hospitals and underserved communities through the power of comic books. Together, we're committed to sparking imagination, lifting spirits, and reminding kids that even in the toughest times, heroes are real—and sometimes, they come in the form of a story. Through this partnership, we aim to expand our outreach and ensure that more young readers get access to fun, uplifting, and empowering comics when they need it most.

Sanitized & Sealed for Safety– Each newspaper is carefully prepared to ensure it’s clean and safe for young readers.
Artist Signings & Visits– Comic artists and writers bring the magic of storytelling to life through special events and autographs.
Expanding Imagination & Hope– Every page brings a world of heroes, adventure, and positivity, offering an escape from hospital routines.
